Story Summary

The nation loves a royal wedding, which is why when now-pregnant Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William tied the knot 24 million people tuned in to watch.

The couple announced they were engaged in November 2010, and had a five month engagement - the same length of time as Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
